Exclusively for Lane Crawford’s 170th-anniversary collection, Thom Browne has reimagined 17 suits from his archive through hand-embroidered patches. “I’ve had a relationship with Lane Crawford for almost 15 years. The idea was to take my classic grey suit idea and interpret it into a special collection of 17 suits for the 170-year celebration”, says designer when asked to elaborate on how the collection was conceived.
This archival cardigan is punctuated with a hand-embroidered patch that reads 'Thom Browne. Lane Crawford 170th'. Updated with the brand's signature four-bar armband and equipped with ribbed inserts on the hem and cuffs, this piece is both a relic and an elegant seasonal staple.
The collection will be available at Lane Crawford ifc mall from Nov 5 to Nov 19, 2020.
