SA SU PHI was launched in 2021 by Sara Ferrero and Susanna Cucco, the former Chief Executive Officer and Artistic Director of Valextra, respectively. With more than 25 years of experience in luxury fashion, the close friends took on this personal venture to express their shared aesthetics and business mantras. SA SU PHI is a combination of the founders’ names and the Greek letter phi (also known as the golden ratio), and sounds like ça suffit, meaning “it's enough” in French. Marrying minimalism with femininity, simplistic designs with a timeless ethos, SA SU PHI ’s striking standalone pieces can adapt to any wearer and occasion.
The brand’s offerings boast exquisite materials and Italian artisanship, playing with contrasting textures and finishes. Their latest collection sees a focus on luxurious silk, rendered in delicate shirts and tunics as well as relaxed joggers and drawstring shorts. 100% cashmere is utilised in the construction of cosy knits - set apart by details such as puff sleeves and side slits. Lastly, striped cotton creates an understated take on workwear in the form of everyday button-ups, A-line skirts, and wide-leg pants.
