REAL TALK: ROTATE

How did you two meet?

Jeanette: “We were both working at a Danish fashion magazine called COSTUME. We didn’t know each other prior to being introduced there but we instantly became best friends.”

What made you decide to launch ROTATE?

Thora: “We had been talking about it for a while, but about four months before we actually started the brand we decided to make it happen and partnered with Birger Christensen.”

What are you scared of?

Jeanette: “Spiders and snakes.”

Thora: “Pigeons.”

When was the last time you cried?

Jeanette: “I was watching Coco with my sons and it was just so emotional that it made me cry.”

Thora: “I was watching Sex and the City for the millionth time and still cried when Big tells Carrie that she’s the one.”

What is something you don’t want to be doing in 10 years?

“We don’t want to eat meat in 10 years.”

What is the best thing that happened in 2019?

“We finally moved into our new offices so for the first time in a year and a half we have a desk to work from. That’s pure joy!”

What are you most proud of?

“Our kids!”

What do you do or where do you go in Copenhagen if you want to de-stress?

“There is an amazing spa at Hotel D’Angleterre called Amazing Space – it’s the best place to recharge.”
