Thierry Chow, the stylish feng shui designer known for offering a modernised voice to an ancient practice, shares her zodiac horoscope predictions for 2019. Read on to discover how to boost your prosperity – and style – during the Year of the Pig.
Pig
“It’s an unstable year for the pig – expect large shifts and big changes coming your way. While some might see this as negative news, remember change is a great opportunity for growth. You will find great potential in becoming a better and more mature person and learn valuable lessons through it all,” shares Chow. “When it comes to choosing colours, boost your prosperity with shades of orange and bright pink.”
Rat
“This rat will experience a very positive year ahead. It’s a good time to take your career to a whole new level. You also have very good love energy this year, making it easier for single people to find a strong match – just remember to take things slow. Colour-wise, red, burgundy and neon pink will be best for you this year,” explains Chow.
Ox
“For the Ox, 2019 is going to be a year full of travelling. It’s also going to be a very busy year with work or school, with a large chance to work aboard and gain valuable experiences coming your way. While travelling, you’ll also find love,” says Chow. “When it comes to choosing colours, opt for shades of pastel pink and beige.”
Tiger
“For the tiger, this year everything will work out just how it should. There’s a very good energy surrounding you, and for both work and love you will find success. In particular, you’ll discover the potential for better results in your career, which will move in a new direction. Colour-wise, dress in shades of pastel purple this year.”
Rabbit
“The rabbit is set to have another fulfilling and positive year in 2019. You’ll have dreams coming true, with good chances appearing in both work and love. When it comes to romance, look out for this to arise within your friendship group. For boosting prosperity through colours, go for shades of blues and turquoise this year.”
Dragon
“For the dragon, this year will be more stable and positive than the last. Your life will feel more solid and assured, which will lead to a greater sense of confidence overall. There’s still plenty of room for improvements in the areas of career and love – just remember to take one step at a time,” explains Chow. “This year, your colours are brown and grey.”
Snake
“There are a lot of changes and uncertainty for the snake this year. For both career and love, you will see changes and shifts happening. There’s a good chance a change of job will arise, or new opportunities will open that fit your criteria. It’ll be a shaky year for love – remember patience is key. When it comes to your colours, opt for hues of yellow and gold,” Chow says.
Horse
“It’ll be a great year for the horse. You will be given some useful assistance at work and will meet someone willing to help you when you most need it. In turn, you will reach greatness. You’re also in luck when it comes to relationships – you’ll be feeling quite in love this year,” shares Chow. “When it comes to what colours to wear, go for metallic gold and silver.”
Sheep
“It’s set to be a year filled with good news for the sheep. You will experience some big decision making and thrive in life in general. For those in love, get ready to hear some good news – and don’t forget to cherish every moment!” says Chow. “Colour-wise, opt for shades of beige and yellow during 2019.”
Monkey
“For the monkey, work, love and health will be a little unstable this year. You will find yourself in turmoil with the people you work with, and overall you’ll feel easily irritated by those around you. Remember to take a breather when you need one, and own responsibility for the energy you carry around,” shares Chow. “When it comes to favourable colours, opt for shades of dark purple and bright red this year.”
Rooster
“It’s going to be a very busy year for the rooster. There will be plenty of travelling and running around, which will require quite a bit of energy. The good news is there will be positive results and great rewards ahead. Just be careful that a busy work schedule doesn’t affect your personal life,” Chow advises. “Colour-wise this year, opt for shades of bright orange and red.”
Dog
“It’ll be a much better year for the dog this year than last. There might still be some negative energy lingering a little this year, but don’t worry, time will heal all,” says Chow. “Work and your love life are also set to improve too – and with a little more effort from you, expect good results. When it comes to colours, opt for bright yellow and pastel orange.”
