Rick Owens’ fur collection, Palais Royal, is named after the designer’s Paris boutique, which opened in the Palais Royal in 2006. The extremely exclusive collection embodies the rock-inspired chic of the acclaimed designer’s main collections, but is reinvented through the use of luxurious furs and leathers. Combining Owens’ signature asymmetrical lines and silhouettes with ultra-luxe materials, Palais Royal is avant-garde rock couture at its best, and undoubtedly a force to be reckoned with. The American designer originally launched his eponymous label in Southern California in 1994, and after winning the CFDA New Talent Award in 2002, moved to Paris in 2003 where he still works today. In addition to the original Rick Owens collection and Palais Royal, Owens also oversees his other lines including DRKSHDW and Rick Owens Lilies, and serves as Artistic Director of Revillon, the centuries-old luxury furrier
