The sisters chose the name “The Row,” after the historied street in London, Savile Row, or the famous birthplace of British heritage bespoke tailoring. Committed to crafting modern high-fashion classics, the Row also began to design luxury handbags, sunglasses and sweaters.
In 2009, Ashley and Mary-Kate were became members of the Council of Fashion Designers of America in New York City, and were later nominated for the Swarovski Award for Womenswear in 2011.
