Borne out of the recent Seventies redux, the lace-up front has now been given a new modern spin. Gone are the bohemian references as designers have blown the lace-up large to give structure and dimension to the season’s outsize pieces. What once was considered an ‘intimate’ detailing has now been worked into slip dresses, jackets and tees.
