A new generation of Chinese designers making waves in the international fashion scene has the industry looking to the East. Since the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute hosted its annual fashion exhibition China: Through the Looking Glass last year, in addition to an increasing number of Chinese names being recognised by Western fashion institutions – Ms Min and Xu Zhi were most recently named finalists in the 2016 LVMH Prize Fund – the allure of Chinese fashion is now impossible to ignore.

Lane Crawford invites Fashion Director, Stylist and Image Consultant Grace Lam and Photographer, Graphic Designer and Founder of design agency Thirty30 Creative, Victoria Tang-Owen, to examine China’s influence on fashion, a topic that is close to both their hearts.
