Uma Wang’s eponymous label is a menswear tour de force and representative of a new generation of unique Chinese designers that are breaking boundaries. Having studied at China Textile University and London’s Central Saint Martins, Wang spent 10 years honing her design skills at several Chinese labels. In 2005 she launched her eponymous label in London and has since been touted as one of Asia’s rising stars.

With a signature aesthetic that includes skillfully mixing contrasting fabrications in an experimental style, Wang’s knitting techniques create sleek separates with subtle detailing.

Subtly weaving in elements of nomadic journeys and aristocratic lineages from around the world, Wang’s collection is designed for the man unbound by conventions.
