What
Autumn/Winter trends are
you looking forward to?
EDIE says:

From watching the shows, I noticed oversized coats, colourful tweed, jewels, sequins, all-white collections, and classic fur are all big this season. But surely you should go for your own thing instead of only following trends!

we’re limited to certain styles, it loses its

Who
inspires
you?
EDIE says:

My favourite all time icons are artist Andy Warhol and his muse, the ingenue, Edie Sedgwick in the 1960s. But I am also inspired by the collections and ethos of Maison Martin Margiela, Rick Owens and Gareth Pugh. I just love seeing beautiful things and seeing people becoming more and more stylish, it makes me happy.

How would you
describe your
world of style
and the five
objects that
define it?
EDIE says:

I like things that have variation. My understanding of fashion is not only about clothes, but also about attitude. I don’t believe in blindly following trends and brands, but I do think you should freely create your own art, aesthetic and lifestyle – this is how I have created my world of style. The five objects that would define it are sunglasses, a cross necklace, pumps, camera and a watch. Why? I’m a Christian so I always wear a cross necklace. My father was a watch dealer and when I was young, he gave me a watch for my birthday every year so I have a special fondness of watches.

What is your
top beauty
secret?
EDIE says:

Cleansing – that’s the most important thing. If I don’t wear make up, I will wash my face three times in the morning and also at night, using all sorts of cleansing oils, cleansing systems and powders. Toner and serums are effective for minimising pores and maximising hydration. I also use a spa machine three times a week. I am really willing to invest a lot on skincare, but the best secret is proper sleep – having said that I go to bed much too late every night!
