Prabal Gurung

Prabal Gurung launched his first eponymous collection in fall 2009 and has become a fashion sensation ever since. After graduating from renowned fashion institute Parsons, Gurung grew together with Cynthia Rowley's team, further nurturing his indisputable talent before being appointed as the design director at Bill Blass. Fusing an old world-technique with cutting-edge modernity to create daring yet timeless collections, Prabal Gurung’s design infuses indelible style with impeccable craftsmanship. Gurung’s sense for unique designs has earned him the "Best Designer" title at the annual Parsons/Fit design competition, countless fashion award nominations and a rave of reviews for his work in design from a range of fashion elite publications. In 2011 Gurung was honored as one of USA Network's twelve Character Approved Award recipients.
