Barbie joins the Balmain Army

A risk-taker, a style influencer, and a role model for many, Barbie’s influence on fashion and culture is undeniable. Being a fan of Barbie since he was a child, Balmain’s Creative Director Olivier Rousteing, jumped at the opportunity to create a boundary-pushing collection. Rousteing is keen to challenge stereotypes about Barbie, melding her fashionista image with his empowering “Balmain Army” ethos and showing a diverse cast of men and women freely sharing and enjoying the capsule collection.

Look to this limited-edition collection for blazers, dresses, and tees in an assorted array of pink that are cleverly executed to reflect Barbie’s instantly recognisable aesthetic with Balmain’s signature designs. What’s more? There will also be an NFT auction that will feature three unique Barbie avatars sporting digital versions of the looks.
