This year, 3.1 Phillip Lim celebrates its 10th anniversary. With a decade in fashion under his namesake belt, Lim looked to his core values for new-season inspiration. The result is a collection that cuts straight to his roots. With separates that reference tribal textiles and geographic motifs, the collection embodies his wearable, global perspective, and ultimately just works. “I looked at clothing archetypes: suits, coats, a trench, the nice ‘lady’ dress,” Lim said, adding: “It’s fun to self-reflect and find ways within these confines to re-invent.”
