Taking its name from the much-loved Paris landmark, innovative wine label Pont Des Arts offers a bridge between the worlds of art and wine. Lane Crawford has partnered with the renowned brand to produce two exclusive sets, which feature works by iconic Chinese artist Yue Minjun.
One of the leading lights of contemporary Chinese art, Yue Minjun is famed for his works depicting exaggerated portraits of himself frozen in an ambiguous smile. For Pont Des Arts’ new collection, Yue provides seven stunning paintings to adorn the labels of three Bordeaux, three Burgundies and an XO Cognac, each work subtly reflecting the character of the wine in each bottle.
Pont Des Arts is the creation of two young French entrepreneurs, Thibault Pontallier and Arthur de Villepin, who bridge the gap between art and wine and East and West through limited-edition wine collections showcasing the talents of the world’s finest winemakers and artists.
