Crowning Glory

Hong Kong-native Gloria Yu never grew up dreaming of fashion; it was something she fell into. Despite growing up in a family of doctors, life eventually brought her to New York City where she studied fashion design at Parsons and at Central Saint Martins in London. It was during her time in London where the crown – as a symbol of power and history combined with fantastical element – became a focus for Yu and informed her otherworldly aesthetic.
