“I want to mix the past present and the future,” says the newly appointed Creative Director, Massimo Giorgetti, of his Pre-SS16 collection debut for Emilio Pucci that he has dubbed a pilot season. “I love serial TV, it’s and interesting way to begin a new story. It’s smart, it’s easy: you start with a pilot and you observe what happens.”

This pilot collection is full of rich story lines, idiosyncratic characters, gorgeous colour dialogues and of course, the optically dazzling print that Pucci is famed for. The Pucci logo has been recast in a new motif across lace pencil skirts, appliqued onto lattice leather bags and as a flash on slip on shoes in a collection that captures the exoticism and delight of the fashion imagination.
