Just moments away from her flagship store on Rue Saint Honoré, each collection is designed in Messika’s new atelier, where she and her design team, work side-by-side with master craftspeople to create each piece by hand. Designed to respond to the four values that for Messika make up the symbols of femininity: lightness, liberty, purity and sensuality.
An example is her signature ‘Move’ collection that features three movable diamonds that symbolise the “love of yesterday, today and tomorrow.” Classic, elegant with a touch of rock’n’roll, the collection complements every look.
“The jewellery industry is moving very quickly. I think we can compare it with the fast path of the fashion industry. Pieces of jewellery such as double rings, hand bracelets and ear cuffs are changing the perception of traditional fine jewellery,” muses Messika. “Jewellery these days is now worn where you least expect.”
