Keep it Clean

The brush head needs to be changed every three months. Cleaning the device once a month in-between replacements can help avoid mucky build-up. Simply twist clockwise to take off the Clarisonic brush head. Thanks to the device’s nifty waterproof quality, you can wash the inside surface with anti-bacterial liquid hand soap, then rinse it with warm water. For those hard-to-reach areas, a Q-tip works wonders. Use anti-bacterial soap on your brush head once a week, and let it dry thoroughly before popping it back onto the device.

Low and Slow

It’s easy to get excited at the thought of visibly radiant, glowing skin after a single use, but trust us when we say you should start slowly. For first-time users, we recommend easing the Clarisonic into your regime, starting with once a week first. As your skin begins to assimilate to the new squeaky-clean feeling, you can begin to increase your Clarisonic frequency to two-three times a week. Got sensitive skin? Then don’t be too zealous and be sure to modify the routine for your complexion, as over-exfoliating can cause irritation.

Storage Tips

Always store your Clarisonic device in an upright position to let the brush head air-dry and to avoid water accumulation. If you have the Clarisonic Aria you can store the device on the drying stand. For Mia users, lean the head of the device on an elevated soap dish to let the water drain. Every brush head comes with a plastic cover and case ideal for travelling.

Cleanser Pairings

Pair your favourite cleanser with your Clarisonic for a match made in radiant skin heaven. Clarisonics work with every type of cleanser, but we find rich cream ones give incredible results. Apply cleanser to the face as you would normally before following with 60 seconds of Clarisonic time. For an extra-deep clean, you can apply a little of your cleanser directly to the brush head before massaging it over your face. Remember to stay clear of scrubs, as the soft bristles act as a gentle everyday exfoliator, negating the need for additional sloughing.
