Direct from the runways of New York Autumn Winter 2015 Fashion Week, here are the beauty looks that we can’t wait to start recreating come fall.

Metallic Magic

Take your cue from Altuzarra and add an ethereal finish to your everyday look with a dusting silver or metallic eyeshadow in the corner of your eyes.

Nude Beauty

Lancôme makeup artist Diane Kendal delivered a faultless classic nude look for Jason Wu’s show. Maintain the barely-there look by keeping colour to a minimum, ensuring that impeccably groomed brows and lashes are the focal point.

Sunset Eyes

Play up your eyes with a splash of winter fresh colour. We loved the radiant look that Diane Kendal created for Prabal Gurung and Thakoon, sweeping a soft peachy orange shade across the lids for a gentle wash of brightening colour.

Berry Bright

The berry lip continues strong for fall, as epitomised at 3.1 Phillip Lim’s show. For a modern spin on this clean and classic look, keep the colour matte and add a touch of highlighter to bare skin for a natural glow.

Blackout

Diane Von Furstenberg championed the classic smoky eye. We especially love how makeup supremo Pat McGrath reinvented the look, opting for an inverse smoky eye by smudging burgundy black shadow along the lower lashline at Victoria Beckham.

Bed Head

Alexander Wang’s show epitomised the luxe modern goth, and his models prowled the catwalk with a suitably gritty grunge beauty look to match. Inspired by thrash heavy metal bands, the look was one of all-night party; subtle smoky eyes, bold eyebrows and, our favourite element, messy, semi-wet bed-head hair.

Artistic Expression

Go outside your comfort zone this autumn and add drama to your look with a simple tweak to your makeup. Proenza Schouler treated the face as a canvas, with bold inky smudges – opt for a wet purple or black shadow – seemingly ‘painted’ into the models’ eyes.
