Austria’s Wolford has been making high-end designer hosiery since 1950. Launching the first double nylon stockings made from American circular knitting machines in 1953, the company still, to this day, works with such innovative technology to proudly create a seamless product. Today, Wolford specialises in the luxury market with leg and body wear, primarily through its ranges of stockings, tights, bodysuits, swimwear and lingerie. In 2007, it was announced that Wolford’s new creative director was Ronald van der Kemp, replacing designer Antonio Berardi, who launched the brand’s ready-to-wear collection in 2005.
