Proenza Schouler

A critically acclaimed creative powerhouse duo from the start, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez first met at Parsons School of Design in New York and first wowed the fashion industry with their graduation collection. Combining the maiden names of their mothers, the pair has been in business as Proenza Schouler since 2002, and launched their first line of shoes and handbags in 2008. Praised for their modern interpretation of corsetry and bustiers, their sleek and minimal silhouettes in dark neutrals have evolved to become their trademark design features. Their impeccable tailoring is widely regarded as unusual for their age, and their calibre of skill is usually seen only in older designers. Loved by the young Hollywood set, including the likes of Maggie Gyllenhall and Amy Adams, their partnerships with Chloë Sevigny and cult filmmaker Harmony Korine have cemented the pair’s status as innovative talents and beloved media darlings for the new generation.
