Founded by self-taught designers, Alessandro Gallo and Francesca Rinaldo, in 2000, Golden Goose was created based on both designers’ love of fashion and art, combined with the quintessential spirit of their Italian roots and an appreciation for British tailoring. With the support of several workrooms, Gallo and Rinaldo learned the necessary techniques of design and production early on, while the brand was still in its infancy. Their lack of classical fashion training allowed them the freedom to experiment beyond the tried and tested boundaries of typical fashion houses. Reinventing vintage materials into original creations, Golden Goose features collections in menswear, womenswear, accessories, and shoes, and combines the quality and refinement of traditional tailoring with a modern interpretation and a distinctive attention to detail.
