A.L.C., otherwise known as the "Andrea Lieberman Collection” is fashion stylist Andrea Lieberman’s line of well-crafted and styled womenswear – what she calls “real clothes for real people.” Launched in New York in 2008, A.L.C. combines Lieberman’s experience for creating powerful fashion moments — dressing, say, Jennifer Lopez in a green, provocative Versace dress for the Oscars in 2000, or Gwen Stefani and her Harajuku girls — and translates them for the every girl. Easy, modern and sexy day-to-night time dresses and separates make for a welcome, understated boldness. Her inspirations? The work of fashion designers Azzedine Alaia and Madame Gres, rocker Shirley Manson of Garbage, and her globetrotting adventures.
