Taher Chemirik is more of a sculptor of jewellery rather than a designer of them, making every piece an organic and original creation. Inspired by his North-African roots and a love for the Orient, Chemirik collects and builds creative flow by scanning Parisian flea markets for little treasures that others overlook. His jewellery has a modern yet intensely personal identity, like pieces of pop art draped across a sensual form. Bright tourmalines, amethyst, rough ruby and emerald, Mediterranean coral, ebony, and quartz are some favourite materials used in necklaces with oversized links and voluminous rings and earrings. Each piece belongs to a common Chemirik theme but is always overflowing with intimate personality.
