The world lost a banker but gained a transcendent jewellery designer when Monique Pean decided to study fashion while working on NYC’s Wall Street. Inspired by love for art and travel, her finance days were over as it was clear the Washington native had a rare vision for design. Pean jewellery is a juxtaposition of old and new using materials from cultures all over the world, blending organic curves with the avant-garde to create collections that stand-alone in the world of precious jewels. She is also an eco-warrior that uses only recycled gold and gems that were harvested in a conflict-free environment. Each piece is unique and handcrafted, an aspiration to enhance the individual through wearable art.
