Designer Overview:

2007 with its highly reputed “Skinnie Classique” jean, Blank’s Emmy
Lauridsen and Leigh Brown merged edgy downtown style with classic design
to spark a fashion revolution. Fast-garnering an impressive fan
following — including celebrities Ashlee Simpson, Hilary Duff, Megan Fox
and Rihanna — the brand blends a pop-cultural aesthetic and
street-savvy style into its design, introducing fresh fabrics, colours
and detailed accents every season. From washed-out cut-off shorts to
jet-black skinny jeans, shredded white options, distressed boyfriend-fit

This Season: Life’s a beach for Band of Outsiders and Boy by Band of Outsiders in
Spring/Summer 2010. Inspired by Jacques Cousteau, some Ed Ruscha
airbrush paintings, and Malibu circa 1978, the men’s collection embodies
rugged nautical tailoring while the women’s range delivers an
urban-surfer/beach-babe look.
