Designer Overview: Launched in 2008, erinkleinberg offers luxe-casual wardrobe staples, such as semi-couture tank tops, T-shirts, cardigans and other fun girly pieces. Having worked previously as a stylist-intern at W magazine, the young self-taught entrepreneur proudly pushes a wearable and comfortable signature line made from natural lyocell — composed of wood pulp cellulose — that’s super-soft and eco-friendly. Inspired by her great-grandmother, whose vintage assortment of jewellery influences the brand’s overall aesthetic, hand-sewn embellishments and trimmings add a luxurious twist to casual everyday garments. Young celebrities snapped in erinkleinberg include Blake Lively, Jessica Simpson and Taylor Momsen.

This Season: For Spring/Summer 2010, erinkleinberg offers new renditions of her signature semi-couture T-shirts and tanks, bearing vintage buttons, diamond-cut chains, Swarovski detailing, lace cuts and sequin effects. She has also expanded her collection to include shorts, skirts and dresses.
