FENDI
Fendi was born in 1920’s Rome when Edoardo and Adele Fendi first opened a fledgling handbag and fur shop. It quickly became a phenomenon and a must-go for the Roman elite. In 1946, their five daughters each brought a new dynamic into the house of Fendi and would meet a designer who was making waves in Paris, and who would help transform Fendi forever. His name was Karl Lagerfeld, and he helped inspire a revolution at Fendi as Creative Director, including the now iconic double-F symbol and other legendary creations such as the ‘Baguette’ and ‘Spy’ bags. As years went by, Fendi would remain at the forefront of fashion in many arenas of excellence. From handbags and accessories to ready-to-wear and home collections, they are forever expanding their influence and impeccable taste as a powerhouse in the world of fashion.
