BRIONI
Designer Overview:
Kazuyuki Kumagai launched Attachment in 1998 after working five
attentive years with pioneering Japanese designer, Issey Miyake. Having
developed a strong respect for and devotion to fashion craftsmanship,
the designer works closely with factories and textile makers to fully
understand manufacturing processes and further develop technical skill.
Revered for its intriguing cuts and closely measured designs, Attachment
is a purveyor of quality and genuine craftwork. The use of textured
fabrics, mostly in black and monochromatic shades that create a rather
dark and deconstructed feel, and intriguing patterns helps create a
layered, multi-dimensional look. From aged leather jackets to an array
of great coats, outerwear is an enticing draw to Attachment.
This Season:For Spring/Summer 2010, Brioni offers formal suits in grey and dove,
matched with shirts in old rose and white, and ties with micro-design
graphics. The gentleman’s blazer is strictly in navy blue while summer
jackets in sand, midnight blue and military green offer swish relaxed
style. The look is natural, light and exclusive.
