RUPERT SANDERSON
In 2001, famed shoemaker Rupert Sanderson founded his eponymous brand after learning the art of shoemaking from masters of the form. Previously involved in advertising, Sanderson made a radical change when he enrolled in London’s Cordwainers College to learn how to make the world’s finest shoes. His talents and passion took him to Italy where he honed his craft working with the likes of Sergio Rossi and Bruno Magli. Sanderson believes in doing more with less, and stays clear of overdressing the curves of a woman’s leg. Sensuality comes in form and Sanderson has become a master of bringing innate beauty out with his vibrant creations.
